Hi. Clearing the unused cache files appears to have solved the problem. I can work on new projects now. I did update to the latest windows version just a few days ago. The new version is, other then that weird bug, great! The prior version I was working with would constantly crash at the smallest provocation but this latest version is wonderfully stable.

Hello. I am a new user to this software and I got it to replace Windows Movie Maker mostly because the user interface for this program is a bit like WMM so it was easy to jump into. Its been fantastic so far, I love this editor. However I do have one question. Is it possible to set up a sound or an alarm that plays when this program finishes exporting a file? I want to be able to walk away or do something else while a video is exporting and get a notification of some sort when its done so I can go back and work on the next file. Between my youtube channel and the video editing I do for my drone photography/video customers I edit a lot of videos and I want to be able to walk away from the computer without running the risk of missing an hour of productivity because I did not know when an export finished. Edit I just discovered this thing can also record my screen as well as edit videos... wow. That might prove useful.
