Arkwright

Please bear with me. I have been using another Recording and Editing software for years. So simple and easy. But it is no longer available for my new laptop, so am attempting to get to grips with Wavepad. I have recorded a half hour radio programme and need to trim the beginning and end. So: Is it possible to show the whole file on the editing screen? If not, is there any way of fast forwarding to the end? I would really appreciate some very simple guidance on what to do, and how to do it. Many thanks for any help.
