  1. Thanks for your reply Chris. Not sure how to find out what kind of metadata Wavepad is able to read. I exported the sample directly from my sampler (HALion by Steinberg), so I think it should be pretty standard format. About the repeat loop: I was not aware about it, very helpful! A shame that this can't work in Batch mode though, as there's no way to select the region before.
  2. Hi, as a sound designer I often work with samples that have loop information stored into the file itself. What I have noticed is that WavePad is not able to read and display this information, compared to other audio editors. I'm attaching an example taken from WavePad and one from another free audio editor below: Example 1: Example 2: Am I missing something? Maybe there is a way to see the Loop Points in WavePad too, but I'm unable to find it? On a side note (for the developers), it would be very useful that the "Repeat Loop" function in WavePad would let the user decide if the whole audio sample or just the designated looping region should be repeated. I wish this feature to be added soon.
  3. Hi there, I have read in this forum there's a way to enable the snapping to Zero Crossing. I'm not able to find it, and when searching in the documentation it seems to be not mentioned at all. That's a very important feature for audio editing. Any ideas?
  4. +1 Floating windows are hard to manage, I pretty much prefer working with the program interface in Windows. I would also like to add that the Mac version is not Retina compatible, which makes every text command look blurry. Hope to see some improvements soon.
