Fade In Issue

I have been using WavePad to compile a series of 30-second samples of my music. It is perfect for this. I've been simply using the Fade-In and Fade-Out functions to make the samples smooth at the beginning and end of each sample.

I want to purchase the full version, but I cannot do so if the following problem is not addressed...

When doing Fade-Out's, the program works perfectly; I have no problem with this. When I try to do Fade-In's, the program inserts a short silence at the end of the fade. In other words, the fade works perfectly, but it adds a little bump caused by this silence. I've been able to get around this by trimming that space out. However, it's annoying and it shouldn't be this involved. Quickness and simplicity are the key to this process for me, and this added time makes something that should take two minutes time balloon to ten or fifteen minutes.

Any help? Thanks!

BUMP.

Can anyone at least confirm that their software has this glitch? It would be helpful to know that it isn't some sort of abberation caused by a faulty download onto my machine, or something like that. Thanks!
