HammerInVA Posted June 23, 2005 Posted June 23, 2005 Yesterday I found WavePad and downloaded the free version V2.0 as well as Switch Plus V1.05. I figured out from the postings here that I needed to download and install "mp3el.exe" and did so. Now I'm able to record and convert files successfully. The problem I'm running into is when I try to modify the Bit Rate and other parameters. I've changed them in both the Setting Screen of WavePad (which seems to be reset each time I bring it up) as well as in the "MP3 Encoder Settings" screen when I do a "Save As". I've varied the settings at least 6 different ways but the file is always output as 128bit??? Any suggestions? It appears from the documentation that I should be able to do this but all attempts have failed. Any feedback would be appreciated else another tool I must find!
nchngoc Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 If you perform a "Save As", it should work fine. Can you send a copy of the file to our technical support email at [email protected] and we will have a look at it?
