How do can I record multiple channels from my Tascam Model 12

I'm sure you've already answered this (somewhere) but I can't find it.

I want to use my Tascam Model 12 as an audio interface into Mixpad. That is, I want to record multiple tracks at once (choosing line one to track one, line two to track two, etc.).

I don't see how to do that. I've downloaded Tascam's "model mixer settings" but when I choose an input on each line, I can only choose "Microphone (model 12)." I don't see which line to choose. 

The Tascam menu/system allows me to choose a DAW controller. I've tried a few but none work.

Does anyone have a cheat sheet to help me?
