Guest Guest Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 Hi. what is the "scrub" function for? I cannot figure it out.[email protected] <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I couldn't figure it out either. The Help file says: "To find accurate edit positions with your ears press the space bar to activate scrub. This allows much more fine movement (with the arrow keys) while listening to the point you want to edit." What you do is click on Scrub and then use the back and forth arrow keys to find the exact point you want to edit. I find Goldwave is much better for precise editing because you can zoom down to the actual individual sound bits. WavePad works good for short files, such as music tracks from CDs. I find Goldwave works better for longer files. I sometimes work with four and five hour sound files, but then again I'm more familar with Goldwave for editing.
