SHAUNDAWG46 Posted December 18, 2007 Share Posted December 18, 2007 Hi I'm having problem with our dial dictate machine which has a voice modem and is designed to answer calls from doctors to allow them to save recordings. It may be a hardware fault with the machine but every now and then the modem will just dissapear from the settings in dial dicate and have to be re installed on the computer again. As a Result of this doctors are not being able to dial the number but instead receivng a engaged tone. Its more likely to be hardware but just curious if this was a bug or something? cjessee Posted January 11, 2008 Share Posted January 11, 2008 If it is a USB modem - the computer could be putting the USB devices to sleep.
