dcooper
wavepad is such a nice product. I use it for my standard recording for Cisco Unity and Contact Center prompts. I have just run into a new reqirement. I need to record prompts in G729 (8khz, mono, 8bit). I can't find a product anywhere for any price that will do it. Anyone have an idea where I can find software or a G729 codec (must be licensed from Spiro Labs which is why it is so hard to find) that will work for me? If you use Cisco Callmanager you have a very powerfull transcoder just use that. Drop the recorded G711 files into the MOHDropFileHere folder. Wait for a little while. When they have gone goto C:\Program Files\Cisco\TFTPPath\MOH and remove them. What you then will have is your prompts in many different formats on being G729.
