Recording from Windows Media Player

I am new to Soundtrap, used it successfully when recording a streamed flash video. Now looking to record the audio from a video captured via a SLR camera. I am playing the avi file in Windows Media Player, but Soundtrap does not pickup the and record the audio. Can anyone help me resolved the problem.

Please ensure you start SoundTap before you start your media player. If this still doesn't work, start SoundTap and then go through the options in your media player and find what device it is sending audio to (your soundcard). Set this to be SoundTap.
