Arabic Language Support

Hi,

I need to add Arabic language prompts and make the system read the Arabic prompts.

I got to change the default system prompts and it worked except that we say Arabic numbers different than English.

For example, the number 25 (Twenty five) is said (Five and Twenty) in Arabic.

Is there a way to change the system's logic to handle the Arabic numbers?

Thanks,

You cannot change the internal programming to accomplish this, however you still have two options.

1) Contact NCH about the issue and they will work with you to modify the program to suit your needs (for a small fee)

2) Develop (or hire NCH / an independent group to develop) a plug-in for IVM which can send numbers (example 25) as a parameter, and have the plugin return the number in word form (eg twenty and five) and have the next OGM read the number to the caller.

The first way is by far the better option and will allow for more integration with the program.

Thank you so much for the reply.

Well, I'm trying to contact NCH but it seems that they are not taking me seriousy untill I purchase IVM. And i cannot purchase it untill i know it will fit my needs.

Also, i'm evaluating voiceguide and this issue is easily solved by modifying one VBS file in the system.
