metropolitan66
I recently purchased and installed SoundTap, but I can't get it to record anything, even after following the instructions. I have boiled it down to two problems: 1) Every time I start SoundTap, I get the red text message: SoundTap recorder failed to initalize. Do I have to re-install SoundTap to resolve this problem? 2) In Control Panels/Sound, SoundTap Recorder is not even an option for my Audio default device. How do I correct this? Thanks for any advice you can offer, KentJ
Guest nchto
The initial error is your problem. The SoundTap virtual audio device was not installed when SoundTap was. Please run the installer again ensuring that you allow the unsigned driver to be installed.
