? about "converting rate or channels"

Hi! :-)

 

When breaking up a "full album" mp3 into imdividual songs, I always get "converting rate or channels." How do I tell what rate and channel the "full album" file is so I'll know how to set my preferences so it won't take as long to copy a highlighted selection to a new window?

You can always right-click on the file in Windows Explorer and select Properties. Then select the Summary tab and if need be press the "Advanced >>" button.
