Guest Chris
Hopefully someone can help me out here. I've got a simple IVM install with a Dialogic D/41H card & Windows 2000 Pro. The card seems to work ok, as the software recognizes it (and I can use the Dialogic TAPI test app), plus the caller ID info is reported, but when the call is answered, the software logs that "Line 1 Answered", then that it will play my message file, then 1 second later the call is disconnected. It does this every time. Hopefully there is just a setting on the card or in the software that can fix this. Please help! Thanks! Chris
Guest Chris
Nobody with a suggestion? I've tried just about everything I can think of or find and I can't come up with anything. Thanks!
nchpeter
Nobody with a suggestion? I've tried just about everything I can think of or find and I can't come up with anything. Thanks! Chris, Can you please post your IVM logs after a failed call. The logs often give a very good clue as to what the problem could be.

Guest Anders Rasmussen
Problem solved. Well, atleast MY problem .. After browsing the forums some more, I stumbled across this post, where he explains that using RDC for administrating the box where IVM is on, sets the setting to answer line 1 with nothing. I did a quick test, where I simply rebooted the box, and it worked. Reconnecting via RDC reintroduced the problem. Any chance you could fix a patch for this issue, as I really need to be able to RDC the machine everynow and then. Anders.
Guest ed
This is the exact same problem I have. This machine is a win2000 machine dedicated to this purpose and has no other software installed. I do not use RDC and have never tried on this machine. I'm at a loss what to do next. The log files show no clue what's up. Can anyone here address this? 14:35:16 Line 1 Unavailable [Answered] 14:35:17 Answered line [1 "Line 1"] call number [21] cid [unavailable] did[0000] drn[0 (32ms)] 14:35:17 Play file: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NCH Swift Sound\IVM\OGMs\start.wav 14:35:19 Call disconnected 14:36:57 Line 1 Unavailable [Answered] 14:36:58 Answered line [1 "Line 1"] call number [22] cid [unavailable] did[0000] drn[0 (16ms)] 14:36:58 Play file: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NCH Swift Sound\IVM\OGMs\start.wav 14:37:00 Call disconnected 14:37:22 Line 1 Unavailable [Answered] 14:37:23 Answered line [1 "Line 1"] call number [23] cid [unavailable] did[0000] drn[0 (16ms)] 14:37:23 Play file: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NCH Swift Sound\IVM\OGMs\start.wav 14:37:25 Call disconnected 14:40:46 Line 1 Unavailable [Answered] 14:40:46 Answered line [1 "Line 1"] call number [24] cid [unavailable] did[0000] drn[0 (15ms)] 14:40:46 Play file: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NCH Swift Sound\IVM\OGMs\Sample Start.wav 14:40:48 Call disconnected 14:41:46 Line 1 Unavailable [Answered] 14:41:47 Answered line [1 "Line 1"] call number [25] cid [unavailable] did[0000] drn[0 (16ms)] 14:41:47 Play file: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NCH Swift Sound\IVM\OGMs\Sample Start.wav 14:41:49 Call disconnected 14:42:38 Turned Off
Guest ed
PS. I'm using a Dialogic D/4PCI and it passes all it's diagnostic tests and the demo software that comes with the Dialogic install works as billed.
Guest ed
One more thing. The call simulator works fine. This problem is script independent as the error also happens with sample scripts downloaded from the website.
