dellio01
I have a problem and am hoping someone can help. I have been ripping my entire collection of CD's to MP3 files. When I first started, I was ripping a cd in about 15 minutes. Now one track is taking up to 4 hours!!!. I have changed nothing in the settings. What seems to be the issue: When it takes a short time, it is using most of my system resources. That is not a problem. I prefer that. I do not do anything else while ripping normally anyway. When it takes forever, it is hardly using ANY system resources. Any idea to spead this back up???
Guest nchto
It could be problems with your CD-ROM, try giving it a break (to cool down etc...) and then see if it still takes as long. Also are the CDs scratched at all?
