Can I burn MP3's as date to keep on a CD

Hello, know this is for beginners but not sure what to do. I have a number of mp3s on my computer and would like to store important ones on a separate CD to keep for safety.

 

Do I burn them as data?

If you wish to burn the mp3 files themselves then yes burn them using the data cd mode.

 

If you simply wish to store the audio the mp3s contain you can burn them as an audio cd, which means you will be able to listen to the audio using any standalone cd player. Unfortunately this method means you store less content per cd than the previous way.
