Multi Track CDs

Please let me know how to burn CDs in multiple tracks. I record lectures and need to have the same facility as with popular audio/music CDs in stores, where one can skip to the next item/song on the CD. Currently, my CDs are in single track format and the listener has to pause wherever he wants to listen from again. He cannot switch off the CD player, or risk pressing the Rewind/Fast-forward buttons, since he then has to start from the beginning of the lecture again. Many thanks

Yes, you can do this using the "Auto split" function under the Edit menu in WavePad.

 

Alternatively, you can move through the file finding the beginning and end of each item. Select the item and define it as a "region". When you copy the regions to a CD they will be copied as separate tracks. Also download Slice Audio File Splitter to compare.
