Recording Echo

When messages are recorded there is an echo. Does anyone k ow how to fix this. I have a creative modem blaster PCI. I would appreciate if anyone knows how to remedy this problem.

This can be caused by a number of reasons. Primarily acoustic effects around the use of the handset. If possible try using a headset unit instead when making the recordings.

 

Otherwise what modem are you using? It may have echo cancellation built in, if so it is a matter of updating your initialisation strings.
