Murphie 0
Hi y'all, I bought a small MP3 Player that is also capable of recording audio files in the g.726 format. When I copy these files on my computer I am not able to play them. I already googled for this topic, but so far I haven't been able to find a solution. I downloaded the codec and installed it already. I am not sure if it worked. Is there a possibility in windows to see the installed and working codecs? I also downloaded some programms for transforming audio files, like the programm offered here. I also tried GXTranscoder. It seems to be a good programm, but it also can't play this format. Does anybody know a good solution? I am writing my diploma thesis here in Egypt, and I would like to save daily audio protocols during work. Thanks in advance for any help/hints. nchtj 0
Hi, If you have installed a codec for g.726, you should be able to play it in either Media Player or Switch. If not, it appears the codec may only work for a specific program or application.
