Guest Jim
I am examining the latest version of VRS. Single channel being recorded through a telephone adapter from the phone line into the microphone input on a sound card. During playback the message is rerecorded when the 'stop recording during playback' option is not selected. If it is selected, this disappears but I think it may be a bug. VRS will record anything played through Media Player also. Previous version of VRS did not have this problem. Nice changes to the software in this version other that that. Keep up the good work. By the way, would be nice to automatically edit out the phone rings if you could do that. maybe don't record any portion of the signal above a settable threshold would do it. Would have to still log DTMF tones. Thanks, jimhardy@cogeco.ca

If you turn it down or mute it it should solve the problem.
