We have a basic call center package and would like to add a prescription order IVR prompt to our CCR tree option on the front end of the auto attendent. What we would like to do is provide a CCR option for a caller to select a Prescription Order path from our CCR tree on the Nortel BCM-50. My thoughts are that we could place a menu option on our CCR tree for the caller to select. We would call this Prescriptions in which the caller would press 7 for Presciptions. After the caller selects this option I believe I could route the caller to a dedicated analog line and over to the PC the IVM application resides on. From there the caller would be prompted by the IVM to record their name, record address information, and record their prescription type.
