rswalker Posted December 10, 2006 Share Posted December 10, 2006 Help I'm using Switch Plus and have the correct Sony codec loaded. I'm trying to convert an 8 hour stereo DVF recording (44.1KHz 128 bit) from a Sony Digital Dictation machine (ICD-SX56) into MP3 format. Switch Plus will only convert the first 1 hr and 12 minutes. I've tried going from DVF to WAV and then to MP3 but it makes no difference - each time the file is cropped to 1 hr 12 minutes. Can anyone help please. nchtj Posted January 2, 2007 Share Posted January 2, 2007 is it cropped regardless of whether you do dvf -> mp3 or dvf -> wave ? theres not too much we can do here, we just use the Sony codec we dont write it. and since its a proprietary codec we dont have legal authority to modify it.
