Cancellation of Debut Recording caused by another application

I use another application that uses the shortcut F7 to open a search window within that app but I find that if I am using it on one screen while recording on a second screen to my PC, the Debut Recording stops, caused by using F7 in the other app. I do need the second app running generally while I am using Debut and unfortunataley forget that F7 will cancel Debut Recording. How can I avoid that other than trying to remember that seasrching for something on one app which is related to Debut will cancel Debut?

Hi,

On Debut, click the Options tab -> Hot-Keys Options -> uncheck "Remove recording controls preset hotkeys (F4-F8) -> OK.
