Feeling "dumb as a stump" I need some help. Want to install the VRS product to tap/record calls for QC purpose. We have PABX with 12 lines to our reps. Want to install the tap at the PABX where a PC is also located. Need to know precisely what hardware is needed to make this work properly.

Office is in Sao Paulo Brazil but tele lines use same connectors and hardware as in USA (RJ-11 etc.) Analog system.

Thanks.

The hardware defined in the VRS documentation should work fine.

There are several options depending on your specific needs and price range. See the Recommended Phone Line Interfaces:

http://nch.com.au/vrs/acc/index.html#TEL

The audio only coupling with a transformer and RJ11 adapater is the least expensive. Setting up VRS with audio threshold limits will start and end the call when the operators are active on a call. This will allow you to perform a quick demo.

For more a more professional solution you will want line seizure detection to mark the exact beginning and end of call times.

You will also want the Professional Telephony Boards to gain access to 12 lines.

Hop this helps,

DG
