Recording with gaps, resulting in a file with shorter duration

Hi everyone!

I've been recording for a few days from my streaming service, with Soundtap (registered user) with nice results both in CD and in HiRes quality.

From yesterday, the program started to record with some little gaps, resulting in a shorter duration of the recorded music compared to the original.  Probably I've changed some setting on my PC windows 10.  This happens both with HiRes and CD (44Hz, 16 bit formats).

I've tried to switch to Wave pad (also registered user), with the same result.

Is there anyone who can help me?

Hi,

Can you tell us what have you changed on your computer? Sometimes background processes can interfere with the recording. You can try disabling unnecessary background processes to see if that resolves the issue.
