Guest Peter Lewis Posted March 15, 2005 Posted March 15, 2005 I'm trying to create an engine sound loop for my Flash-animated aircraft simulation. I've got a wav file that I've been trying to edit and convert to MP3. It's fine when left as a wav but the mp3 change adds a flatline to each end of the file. This ruins it as a loop. No amount of recutting or editting make any difference. Each time it's saved as an mp3 the flat spots return to each end, sometimes worse. Is this a common phenomena with mp3 or am I doing something wrong? I could leave the sound loop as a wav but it's nowhere near as efficient. Wav files are nearly ten times the size. Very happy to buy your product but not it if persists in doing this. regards, Peter
