VIP TIP: Before Exporting Videos on Videopad

Make sure to follow the steps below in order to complete the process to clear the cache and retry to export your project:

1. From Videopad, select the Tools=> Options => Disk tab > "Cache folder" section => copy the folder path.

2. Paste the path on your windows folder explorer, this will open the Cache contents. 

3. Delete all files within this folder. (Will have to close Videopad for this to work, most likely)

4. Close Videopad and re-open it again. 

5. Re-load the file and then export

ALSO: exporting to my Vimeo account directly loads a better, larger, file with smoother transitions. THEN, download onto USB stick.

Whatever works best for you.

But be aware that after clearing the cache it will take longer to reload the project as the cache must be rebuilt.

It's wise to use OPTIONS | DISK | Clear Unused cache files prior to beginning a new project.  Then there will be no leftover cached files.

This does the same thing as deleting the files via Explorer.

There should be no need to clear the clips-in-use cache files prior to export.
