Opening a Fillable PDF shows incorrect Control field fills

I want to know if there is a solution for editing incorrect Control field fills. I saved a fillable pdf from the web that had either check marks or radio buttons selected. When I open the file in Pico PDF, either the check marks disappeared or the fields are filled with a solid black color. I was able to toggle the control fields, but there was not way to set them back to the original character selection (check mark or radio button). I tried to see if redacting might release the solid color but didn't get far with that. If there is no way to reset the control fields, can we submit that as a future feature? And yes, I did update the software to the most recent version (Pico PDF Plus v4.01).
