Problem with overlay image on timeline

Hi, I'm looking for some help if possible please.

I am overlaying images (Ingredients) to show at the bottom of the video. My question is:

Is there anyway I can get that image to slide n from the left. Any help would be very much appreciated as I'm quite new to this.

Apply the POSITION effect, then program keyframes for the desired motion trajectory.

In the preview window, drag the image to the left until it's off screen.  Click the small green + sign to set the first keyframe.

Now drag the red cursor to the middle of the graph. 

Drag the image to the center of the preview window.  That should set the second keyframe.

Hi Borate, Many thanks for the quick reply. quick isn't a word we use very often here in Spain!!

I'm just back from a hospital appointment so will give your directions a go this afternoon. Thank again for the help.
