Lancelot Chan
I've tested VP 13.10 and it has equal H265 hardware encoding as the H264 hardware encoding GPU utilization. Good job, VP! I compared to adobe premiere pro and the utilization rate on the same video without effects, are the same. With effects, CUDA has an advantage in exporting, like the sharpen effect in adobe PR Pro is a lot faster than the VP sharpen effect. It seems that when the effect used on the video can be done by GPU in VP, like color correction, then the speed difference between CUDA supported PR Pro and VP is less pronounced. CUDA still holds an advantage on the latter case. Also when there's overlay / scaling, VP's speed drops significantly but PR PRO still retains the same speed by CUDAing it through.
