Midi Editor Software Freeze (when clicking on a single note)

Hello all,

I am using the software MixPad Masters v10 and I am having the following problem:

In the MIDI-editor when I am clicking on a single note after loading a MIDI sequence, the software plays this specific note for far too long (like annoyingly long). During that, you can not interact with the software, it completely freezes. When it is done playing the tone (after about 30 seconds), you can use the software again normally. 

When I am just playing the whole MIDI sequence without clicking on a single note, there is no problem and it sounds as its supposed to.

I already tried reinstalling the software and restarting it and the PC. I also tried the software on a different PC with the same results.
