I have been using Express Invoice for a couple of years now and due to a refresh option on Lenovo all programs, but not files, where uninstalled including Express Invoice. I have re-install the program but all settings and data have disappeared. How can I recover this lost info? I am using Windows 8

Please help

Sorry to inform you but without any backups, all data is lost and the settings will be on default as of a fresh install.

I do have a backup but it's a couple of weeks old which I can use and restore the lost docs manually.

Was just hoping there was a way to restore everything.

Hi,

All data is stored locally on your computer. The only option to recover your data is if you have a backup file. 

Here is how you can restore the backup file you have: 

- From the Tools menu, select Restore Data...
- Click the Restore from backup button
- Browse to your backup file and click OK
- The data will be restored and a Data Restore Success window will open when it is finished
- Click OK

Thanks I did restore from backup, unfortunately it was about two weeks old so had to manually enter lost records.

All back in working order now.
