ChrisN
When will it be possible to print out separate parts from a score of say 4 instruments? e.g. a quartet or more? Chris N
Simon L
Hi, Cris. The program currently does have the capability to print out separate parts. NCH Software formally takes suggestions via this link: https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/index.html. That's the best way to ensure that your idea is evaluated for possible inclusion in a future release.
Horsemum
I can't find how to do this, can you point me in the right direction? there is nothing specific in the manual.
MakubX
As previously advised, feature isn't available yet but to print all pages, select File->Print, or select the Print toolbar item, or use the shortcut key combination Ctrl+P. All notation will be printed, on-screen widgets and coloring will not.
ChrisN
It is time this programme enabled separate parts to print out. I am taking up Dorico as that does have this feature and now I am into 6 part lengthy compositions it is tedious to copy and paste each stave into a Violin 1 Part and Violin 2 Part etc etc. Midi does not accurtaely reporduce the score notes and transferring to Dorico for sepaprate print outs is just as difficult with all the corrections needed. I am wondering if VLC would be better? I have been recomended XML. I see this can Import but can we Export through this programme soon? PS The expert response above omits by mistake the word "NOT" to make sens of what follows. Chris N
ChrisN
String repoduction is terrible in Crescendo - nothing like a string quartet. I only use Piano as that at least reporduces the notes accurately and errors are easily identified. Will XML solve this reproduction problem?
