move a rectangular selection

I would like to be able to specify the size of a rectangular selection and then drag the selection around to get the area I want to crop. Is this possible? 

I am running PhotoPad v6.30 on a Mac

Hi @coltrane58,

You can simply click on the Crop button under the Home tab. This option will allow you resize the rectangle and drag to the desired area of the photo.
