maggythecat
Hi so this isnt a biggy but I have my subtitle saved so anytime I want it i just import it into a project or video HOWEVER, it only saves the font style and writing It doesn't save the font size no matter what Every time I need to set back the font style It isn't the end of the world but is there a way to save font size in the subtitle file, otherwise I need to keep changing it every time I import it When I open the subtitle file this is what I read is there anything on this I can edit so it permanently saves the font size I need. I tried deleting and resaving a new one but it just doesn't save the font size to 14 which is the size I need.`` [Script Info] ; This script was generated by VideoPad Video Editor ; To download VideoPad, go to http://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/index.html Title: Sequence 1 Original Script: User ScriptType: v4.00 Collisions: Normal PlayResY: 1080 PlayResX: 1930 PlayDepth: 0 Timer: 100.0000 [V4 Styles] Format: Name, Fontname, Fontsize, PrimaryColour, SecondaryColour, TertiaryColour, BackColour, Bold, Italic, BorderStyle, Outline, Shadow, Alignment, MarginL, MarginR, MarginV, AlphaLevel, Encoding Style: Style1,Impact,90,15921911,0,0,0,1,0,-1,0,0,2,5,5,5,0,0 Style: Default,Arial,30,16777215,0,0,0,0,0,-1,0,0,2,5,5,5,0,0 [Events] Format: Marked, Start, End, Style, Name, MarginL, MarginR, MarginV, Effect, Text Dialogue: Marked=0,0:00:00.00,0:00:09.27,Style1,,0000,0000,0000,!Effect, Chaimke Productions
borate
Not the fault of Videopad. SSA files do not save font size or shadow info. That's determined by the player. Other settings seem to be good. A restored project should retain size settings.
maggythecat
Sorry i didn't mean subtitle I meant I use that as my logo watermark I run at the bottom so people can't rip the video off me on youtube Whenever I load it, it loads in default videopad settings and font size You gave me an idea though I saved it in a project to my desktop Now I open it, add any new videos to it, and the writing I need is there, in the correct size and style
borate
You can export a sequence that contains only a text clip, or a video logo ... to be imported as a clip for future projects. One way: place it on a separate track, hide other tracks, export.
