Problem with MP4 during the transition video effects

I've been doing software for 40 years and one thing I've learned is we make great improvements usually at the cost of other bugs.  That is why I keep a copy of every version I receive.  I ran into a problem with the transition effect using a cross fade transition.  The problem also occur with other transitions like swipe from left to right, but did not like the result.  So I have included the project file along with all the raw files with the transitions.  I made sure the project file was version 11 so it can be loaded with both old and new versions of video pad.  Here is the link:

I did a binary search on all the versions that I have to figure out what version last worked with this project.  I came up with version 10.06 dated January 19, 2021.  The cross fade transition works beautifully.  There appears to be two bugs and I have a flickering problem that showed up in version 10.36 dated May 1, 2021.  The latest version 12.33 has both a green flicker in the cross fade seems to work below the flickering.

The reason I think this problem has never surfaced is because in the dual screen of video pad it works fine.  It's only in the creation of the MP4 where you notice the problem.  That's what makes the problem so frustrating is when you're in video pad and play everything looks great.  But when you create an MP4 you see the flicker.  I have not yet tried other output file formats.

Thoughts?

Okay I'm totally frustrated.  I'm using 64-bit 12.33 Windows 10 and Windows 7 and occurs at 29 seconds into the MP4 file with video pad not loaded.  I noticed your videos and they work great which is what I noticed with version 10.06.  I don't know what to do.  I have tried with old Windows media player, new Windows 10 film and TV player, and VLC with Windows 7.  They all seem to do it.  I have actually loaded the same video into Facebook and it also does it.

Can you play my 12.33 version see what it does?

That was W11.  Also tested your original VPJ (prior to trans fixes) on a low-end W10 I3 laptop running v12.28.  Same export result;  no hint of green or flicker.

No harm in deleting temp/cache files.

Try disabling GPU under OPTIONS | ADVANCED | Video Processor.  image.png

Are the video driver and Direct-X current?

I think we figured out the problem with your help.  It appears to be the GPU is turned on or set to default.  When I explicitly turn it off it works 100%.  Now what do I do I must need to update my graphics driver somehow is that right?  It's nice to see it's not a software bug but a hardware problem that we can fix.

One comment for future reference.  Video pad does not use any GPU at all and is turned off inside video pad.  The video was perfect inside of video pad and it wasn't until I turned off the encoding with tools the actual MP4 completely worked fine.  Personally I don't care if it's a little slower because I have so many workstations.
