addressed Duplicated texts clip remains synched

Videopad 12.28 (currently last available)

I added a text clip as a secondary video track (so my text will be shown above the video), changed sized, color background, video position etc. Text object displayed at 30 seconds for 4 seconds.

After that I copy-pasted the same text two minutes later because I don't want to change anything (font color position etc), only the text content inside. When I change the second text content first Text content is updated too. It seems that they are not just copied but stay in sync.

I don't want to add a new text, change all properties, video position and place it into the time line, then again new text, again change all properties etc etc.

It's possibile to break this "synch" between copied Texts, allowing different contents?

After creating the initial text clip, right-click it in the bin (top-right) and COPY.  Then right-click in an open area of the bin and PASTE (Clip).

Do this for as many clips as will be needed.  Use each copy for new text, but don't mess with the master clip.

Try it this way.  Make the bin copy, then drag the copy to the timeline.  The initial clip will not be altered when the copy's text is changed.
