Text - number of characters limitation

I need to add text to collages (not text overlays) and can copy and paste from a Word document into the TEXT OPTIONS box (and by scrolling down can see all that I have pasted) but what appears in the collage looks to be limited to about 250 characters. Can this limit be increased?

Hi, you should be able to add more texts than that. You could try exporting your collage as an image first and then reload said image and add your texts again.  You can also try reinstalling the program from this link (latest version)  https://www.nchsoftware.com/photoeditor/ppadsetup.exe

Thanks - I've updated to the latest version of Photopad and this has resolved the problem.
