MLO2022
Hallo Team I was wondering why do all the fade in and fade out effects disappear from the individual clips as soon they get moved. Is there no setting for it that once a fade in effect is set for a section, it also remains in place? Regards MLO
borate
How are they being applied? Normal behavior if added as transitions. If clips are moved then the trans between them is deleted. Add fades last. Or use the TRANSPARENCY effect instead, plotting keyframes that fade up from zero opacity (fade in) or down to zero (fade out). That isolates the fade. MLO2022
But what I don't understand is, that even if you have a free standing clip, not attached to any other clips and you move it now 1 second left or or right, then it also loses the fading effects, why? Yes I understand when they are linked to other clips, but by a free and isolated clip?
borate
Only the end fade is lost after a move of an isolated clip here. My guess is that's because that fade is actually a transition to black - broken when the clip is moved. Record_2022_11_14_15_40_55_939.mp4 The end fade is retained if its trans abuts another clip and both are selected prior to moving. That's just the way it works.
