MLO2022
Hallo Team So I prepared now 6 separate sequences which I eventually want to combine in one main clip, in which I will also place the music over. But now I am noticing that the "audio signal" (the waves in the track) are completely misaligned when I import the sequences. So for example in sequence 1 the speaker is already talking while the imported sequence in the main clip still shows a flat line. Strange.... This makes it impossible for me to place the background music accordingly and fade in and fade out at the right spots Any idea what it can be? borate
A sequence that has been exported should import with no sync changes. Are you saying that this isn't the case? You can import those single clips in order, or place them anywhere on the timeline. Take a minute to share an exported file that does not import in sync and someone will check it out. Upload the exported file to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view." Also update to the latest version. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.

borate
An export always reflects what is on the sequence. Perhaps there was extraneous content at the head that was overlooked before exporting?? It appears that audio and video for the clip are not linked, and that this was simply an audio track intended to match up to existing video. After importing the audio, split off and delete the silence at the beginning if necessary. Then drag the audio track to where it should be. To drag ALL clips simultaneously click the first clip, hold down <shift> and click the last, to select them all. Then drag. Or select all clips that are to be moved, right-click on one of them and GROUP CLIPS. Drag.
MLO2022
I just notice that I have the issue only by these sequences where I have more than one audio track. The other sequences with just one audio track are perfect synchro.
borate
Difficult to analyze without seeing the project. Share it if possible.. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
MLO2022
Now when I move the entire audio in the sequence #1 then the audio signal in the MAIN clip shows JUST a flat line over the entire clip whiles speeches are on and music on hhmm.... borate
Just to clarify... Sequences are shown under the Sequences tab in the bin (upper-left). Tracks are shown under the timeline. When a sequence is exported it saves all tracks that are currently active. If sequence 1, for example, is embedded into sequence 2, sequence 1 will be a single composite containing all its tracks. We need to see the project to fully understand what you see there. Save and share it, as above, if possible. Also helpful: detail the precise steps being used to insert the audio track.
