Bert Speggly
I am making a video where the clips are reversed. Once I have reversed the clip, the preview is so slow that I can't do anything. Is there a fix for this, or do I have to export each clip, and reimport it as a separate video, which is rather tedious? I found a partial solution, using an SSD. But I also want to speed up the clip, and when I do that the preview starts buffering again. So suggestions still welcome! Thanks, Bert
borate
What version of Videopad is being used? Try the latest 64-bit release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. After a speed change, allow the clips to fully cache (green line completes above the thumbnails). Preview should then be smooth. Bert Speggly
Thank you for your help, I'm using the basic version but I think it's okay now. Cheers Bert
borate
Use the 64-bit version, linked above, if possible. Video editing is resource intensive. Higher-end hardware is recommended, especially for very high-def or lengthy projects.
Bert Speggly
Thanks, but I can't justify buying the full program for the amount that I use it. The Basic version is fine for what I do. Bert.
