heinzeric
Hello together, After upgraded my OS I had to buy a new licence for VideoPad and now I use VideoPad Professional 11.81. After this I can't copy and afterwards alter a copied text clip, cause it have the same name that is not alterable. The only solution for this problem that I found in the Internet was to update VideoPad. But my VideoPad says it is up to date. So, how to solve this problem, have anyone a solution for me? Many thanks! Heinz Erich
borate
The latest Windows version is here. It's unclear what you are attempting to do. If the text clip is in the Videopad bin (top-left), right-click on it and Rename. You can also duplicate the clip and give it another name. Right-click on it, click COPY. Right-click in an open area of the bin and click PASTE CLIP. Either the original or the copy can be Renamed. If this doesn't help, please follow up with the specific steps that you take. heinzeric
Many thanks for answer, borate. Your download link leads to version I use. I can't copy and afterwards alter the textclips on the timeline as it was possible before updating. But many thanks for the hint - if I copy a textclip in the Videopad bin top-left then I can insert it with strg+v and it gets a new name, so I can alter it. Problem solved - many thanks! borate
Clips on the timeline (sequence) can't be renamed, but those in the bin can. Timeline clips can also be split out and dragged to the bin, where they will be shown with an incremental #.
