When I try to export MP4 (or MOV) it starts downloading x264enc7.exe, fails installation, retries and fails conversion... retries and fails again!!!! I have the paid version, and pretty good PC (Lenovo W540, Windows 10)... What should I do? (indeed the MPG is of poor quality...) (Running VP as administrator). borate Posted September 4, 2022 Share Posted September 4, 2022 New thread. Reboot the PC. Then install the latest VP release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If it prompts for x264enc7.exe once again download the attachment here and double-click on it.
