BobbyC
I bought "Golden Video" program three years ago to transfer a collection of old VHS & VHS-C videotapes to digital files. It worked like a charm, though I had one issue that was resolved with a brief phone call to technical support. I have been given a collection of VHS-C cassettes to digitize for my sister-in-law. When I purchased Golden Video years ago I also purchased Audio Capture software & a small CD to load my software. I also have both the audio capture interface & the video capture interface devices. I have connected these devices to a pristine JVC VHS-C camera as a playback source for getting these videos to my home computer. When I connect to my 1 year old HP Pavillion p.c. & open Golden Video, the output of the VHS-C camera does not come up in Golden Video. I'm not asking someone to resolve this, but if you have suggestions, that would be great. I have checked all the connections, I've run the VHS-C video & audio directly into one of my TV's and both audio & video work well. My question is twofold. 1. Did NCH provide upgrades to Golden Video and I just missed them? 2. NCH used to have the most helpful technical assistance telephone people...do they not have technical assistance any more. Sorry for the length, just wanted help if that is available. bobbyc
elk
You may want to reinstall the software but you need to install the version that works with your current license. Old versions can be downloaded from this link: http://www.oldversiondownload.com/ Keep in mind that your registration and activation code will work on any fix or new version of the software released within 6 months from the date of purchase. Phone support is available for Platinum users, you can find out more about Technical Support Packages here: https://secure.nch.com.au/support/purchase.html
