Terraman
Hi all. Just took on the job of editing football match highlights for my local team. I put a score overlay in the top left corner of the picture, but ideally I would like it slightly away from the edges of the picture. However, I cant seem to fine adjust the text block, It jumps as I try to place it, so I cannot place the text in the exact place I would like. I am using the mouse to try to move it. Am I doing it incorrectly, or is it just a limitation of the software? Hope I have asked my question clearly! Many thanks if anyone could advise. Richard. borate
If this is the result you're aiming for... choose TEXT BACKGROUND in the text editor window. Then, in the preview window, drag the box. There are slight jumps, but moving the pointer very slowly should result in the desired position. Or, click the FX icon on the text clip, choose the POSITION effect, and use the sliders or manually input numbers for more precision.
