hojger
Hi, I have just started to use VideoPad Editor but it is very disappointing for me. In a very important project of mine I see black splodges/blanks at the cutting points in the project file AS WELL AS in the output video - and I cannot get rid of them. Could you help me as it is a very important project for me and I should present it today :((( There must be a solution to this problem... You can download the portable project video via this link: https://we.tl/t-Vhg9uhAz8I Blanks/splodges are at: 0:00:03 0:00:18 0:03:
borate
Perfectly clean here, in both preview and export. Install this version and see if the problem clears up.
hojger
I have installed version 11.86 as you said. Now the project file is clean for me as well! But I am not able to export it. borate
Apparently you are attempting to use LOSSLESS export. Instead, use these settings. Click the blue Default Quality/Filesize link to see the drop-down box.
hojger
OK I restarted the program and then I managed to export the video indeed --- BUT in the exported video the blanks are still present. 0:00:03 0:00:18 0:03:
borate
Odd. No sign of that here. What are your PC's specs: CPU/GPU? Under OPTIONS | EDITING tab, in the Advanced area at the bottom, choose None (CPU only) and see if that remedies the issue.
hojger
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.70 GHz Memory: 8,00 GB System: 64-bit processor architecture Operational System: Windows 10 Home 21H2 None (CPU only) setting seems to solve the problem!!! 👍👍👍 Do you think my processor is too weak for VideoPad Editor Pro? borate
No, the processor is fine. Some video adapters don't play nicely with VP, and the developers are always interested in scoping out which ones. Does your system have a separate graphics card? If not, what GPU is being used?
hojger
Thanks for your very valuable assistance. Are you a member of the support team? If yes, I would give you an excellent rating... Can I turn to you for help in other cases as well? If yes, here or in a new topic? Sincerely: Greg
borate
You can always post to the forum, where more 'eyes' can result in better suggestions. Do post a new topic for each issue. Most users who chime in here are not NCH employees. But some do communicate with the developers.
