Saoirse Canery
When I use an expansion without ending it with punctuation, FF has started deleting the space needed to make the expansion work, but if I try to get around it by hitting space twice, it inserts two spaces. This didn't happen until my second day using FF, and I can't figure it out. No settings have changed. Help? Thank you!
elk
You may want to reinstall the program using this link: https://www.nch.com.au/fastfox/ffsetup.exe Before reinstalling the program, I recommend you to create a backup data file to avoid losing your information during the process. Saoirse Canery
Thank you for your prompt reply, elk! Unfortunately, this had no effect. As a matter of fact, a new problem developed. Now occasionally when I'm correcting the problem, it is changing the text/paragraph formatting after I delete the word. This is really a problem, and a bug I'd expect to find in a free program. I wouldn't have purchased if it happened during trial. Any other ideas? Thanks again! ETA: I am now unable to get through 2-3 pages without this happening. Restarting Word seems to fix it, but this isn't really acceptable to do this frequently in my line of work. Ty!
Saoirse Canery
Bump, please? Still happening. I have been unable to find a way to contact tech support, which is also kind of ridiculous. Thank you!
