ToddDouglasMusic
I've done this dozens of times in a bunch of videos. Now it doesn't work and I don't know why. When you use the FX Crop, Zoom, or Pan&Zoom/KenBurns there should be a preview window that has draggable borders to frame what you are cropping or zooming. (Looks like dashed lines with small square boxes at the corners and edges.). That border isn't there anymore. I did an update to the Mac OS last week so maybe that changed something? Running VP 11.70 on OS X 10.15. Has anybody else seen this or have a solution?
borate
It certainly should be there. Be sure that the CLIP PREVIEW tab is active in the PV window. Or enable Show Dual Previews under FILE | VIEW menu. If no joy, try reinstalling Videopad.
ToddDouglasMusic
Still no love. I was in the Clip Preview tab in the preview window. (I didn't even realize there was another tab there.). Dual preview just makes life more confusing and doesn't show my zoom selection border. Neither does reinstalling VP. What is so frustrating is that this used to be available and super easy to do what I need. Now it's not there and I don't know why.
borate
Odd indeed... Don't have a Mac to test here. See if installing the latest 11.71 iOS release solves the problem.

Happened to me. and it sucks. did you ever get it fixed? Has anybody else lost the ability to crop zoom pan from the preview screen?
borate
What version of VP is being used? Try this one. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. What are your PC's specs: GPU/CPU/RAM? If a specific effect is not selected (it turns blue), then the box won't appear. box.mp4
