I want to be able to HEAR my input during recording, and SEE it on the VU meter. Is there a video for step one? Or a page of step-by-step instructions for the first-time user? Chris75 Posted May 30, 2022 Share Posted May 30, 2022 To select the input device to record from, you may do it directly from each channel, or track in MixPad. Attached you can find a screenshot showing where to click to select the input device for each track. Regarding the option to hear what you are recording, that option is only available if you are using ASIO compatible hardware. If your computer does not offer the option to monitor (listening while recording) is likely that your computer is missing ASIO drivers or does not have any ASIO hardware. You may click on the wrench icon on each track to pull up Audio Options, from there you should be able to set the input and output devices.
