Bob Felice
I'm on 11.55 Professional. I have at least two AVI files that only play audio when I load them in the project. The files play fine in both VLC and Windows Movies and TV, which makes me think the problem lies with VideoPad. I have other files that work as expected. The only thing I see in the View window is the 1st keyframe, which slowly dissolves to black as I play the file. Audio is fine, as far as I can tell. I've tried clearing the cache and deleting and recreating the project multiple times, same result. I've had mutilple project with VideoPad, and never encountered this behaviour before. Suggestions appreciated.
borate
Let's see one of those files. That way someone here can track this down. Sharing is easy and can be private... Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."

tbrown567
Was this resolved? I, too, have an .avi file that plays on media player and VLC but only the audio shows when loaded to my Express Scribe Pro.

Just follow these steps...
